Community Rehabilitation Program These services assist individuals in developing employment goals by providing work experience in a structured setting. Individuals prepare for competitive integrated employment through the use of individual and group services including fulfillment production, cleaning crew, print shop experience, hydroponics and electronic recycling skill training, job club and community job sampling.

Abilities Washington offers pre-vocational experiences including pre-employment skill building, on site building maintenance, group supported employment and community volunteer opportunities. There is an extensive hand-crafted decoration component to allow for the creation and sales of artistic products. The Washington Program also runs our “The Coffee Shop” 

Medical Specialized Needs (MSN) – MSN provides nursing care, day habilitation, and a variety of services and activities for individuals with medically complex conditions who have functional limitations and a need for medical services. This program includes a wide range of leisure activities and offers the participants community integration and community volunteer opportunities. They receive therapeutic and nursing services as prescribed or required.

Career Development and Community Supported Employment Services

Supported Community Employment Services are provided by Employment Pathways, a Division of Abilities. Program services include job development, job training and intense long-term follow-along services. These services are for individuals who need on-going support to perform and maintain competitive employment. Individuals may be referred for Supported Employment Services from any program area to one or more of the following program services depending upon the individual’s needs: Job Club, Job Seeking Skills, Job Development, Job Sampling, Job Coaching, and Follow-Along.


School to Work Student Transition Services are provided to students with different abilities to assist in making a smooth transition from high school to work. Services provided are based on a student’s needs, strengths, preferences and interest. Students may participate in a variety of services offered by Abilities.

The Individual Specialized Program is oriented towards pre-vocational and theraptic skills. Individuals requiring long-term specialized programming, short-term programming, and/or are experiencing periodic behavioral crisis are eligible. Programs are tailored to individual needs based upon the  behavioral supports offered.

PrintAbilities, Abilities print shop provides a pre-vocational training experience through the production of high quality, custom screen printing, embroidery and digital printing for T-shirts, fleece, hats and other custom ordered specialty garments. PrintAbilities also provides custom printed promotional products and sign printing. Individuals served learn aspects of a social enterprise while being provided with the support and guidance needed during training. This training can lead to competitive community employment.
